Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve most likely heard of Dumpling Time. Located in the Design District, it is hard to pass up! Even when the line is out the door, we have a hard time saying no (yes, it’s that tasty). They offer a huge range of items from pan-seared bao, to a king dum soup dumpling that is so big you need a straw! From waygu beef gyoza, to shrimp toast, we promise there’s something for everyone! AND as if they couldn’t get any better, they recently got their liquor license and are finally serving cocktails as well as sake, wine, and beer.
BAO DOWN is San Francisco's newest restaurant, located in Nob Hill at 648 Bush Street. Owner and Executive Chef Greg Edwards brings Asian fusion and Island Style Cuisine together, creating dishes that are visually stunning and explode with flavor. What really stands out is how thoughtful Greg is with every ingredient; nothing is simply there as a garnish.
Over at the bar, the bartenders serve a mean menu of cocktails, all unique and creatively crafted. Bao Down is a high-energy restaurant, rocking with colorful graffiti walls and lively music. They are now open for lunch and dinner!
