We apologize, our at home cooking has been a bit scarce with much traveling lately.  We are also huge fans of dining out in the summertime because we love exploring new restaurants with great outdoor seating.  And let's be honest, this summer has been HOT (even in the Bay Area) and standing over a hot stove is not ideal.  So when we do cook in the summer it's all about grilling outside or quick meals.

Recipe: Skinny Tortellini Alfredo

Lighten up an Italian favorite with this Skinny Alfredo Sauce.  Not only is this meal light, it also cooks in less than 30 mins!  Let's face it, it's summertime which means spending time over a hot stove is not ideal.  Thanks to brands like Giovanni Rana, who make refrigerated pastas that cook in under 5 minutes, we can now enjoy our favorite savory pastas all summer long!

Recipe: Light Tomato Cream Sauce with Lobster and Cheese Ravioli

This tomato cream sauce is both easy to throw together but is a lighter option to those classic cream sauce recipes. To prepare most cream sauces, many recipes call for butter and/or heavy cream; we have omitted those and instead use olive oil and regular milk.  Despite the saved calories, we promise you'll love it just as much!
