This edamame hummus is so ridiculously easy to make and perfect for any time of day. For me it has become the new avocado toast, throw it on some bread for the perfect morning start!
Shake Shack has been a favorite ours since 2007 when we were both living in NYC.
While there are a number of reasons they stand above the rest, their special sauce is a famous staple. Many recipe blogs have shared their versions and through much trial and error, we have created what we think is the best version!
Of course we didn’t forget about the onion rings. With only 4 ingredients , these circles of deep fried perfection are so much easier to make than you think! Did we mention they are beer battered?
I’m not going to lie, I’ve been known to make a mean charcuterie board. While Alec creates 90% of the recipes we share, this is the one thing I am going to take 100% credit for. Mayyyybe it has something to do with the fact that I don’t have to actually cook anything and it’s really all about the styling (and of course the cheese).
Charcuterie boards are the staple to any gathering year round. My favorite part about them is that the possibilities are endless!
STANLEY WAKE UP! IT'S PRETZEL DAY! Pardon our Office reference but we are always excited to celebrate National Pretzel Day!
Growing up in Philadelphia, soft pretzels were a must at any gathering or celebration. Nowadays, tons restaurants have caught on and are adding these fan favorites to the menu. Whether served with spicy mustard or warm cheese dip, soft pretzels are always the answer.
Growing up in the Philly suburbs, Sunday's were for the birds. The Philadelphia Eagles that is! So what better way to root on team green in the SUPERBOWL than to make a massive mound of Philly Cheesesteak Nachos!
Loaded with steak, peppers, onions, and melty cheese this will be the only game day recipe you need!
LET'S GO BIRDS!
Toasted Ravioli is a dish that was made famous in St. Louis. As a STL native, this is one of Alec's favorite treats! Every time we visit we aren't in town 24 hours before devouring a batch.
These squares of perfection are typically made using meat filled ravioli. Despite it's name, "toasted" raviolis are actually breaded and deep fried :) For this recipe we used mini meat filled ravioli to create the perfect party appetizer.
Growing up, my dad and I had a slightobsession with Japanese food (and still do). We've never said no to a sushi night! From top rated restaurants like Nobu in NY to hole in the wall, all-you-can-eat hidden gems, we've tried it all!
While I know it is not authentic Japanese food, I am not ashamed to admit that Kani Salad is one of my favorite Japanese restaurant appetizer. Made with only a few ingredients, this salad could not be easier to throw together!
Thanks to PF Chang's, lettuce wraps have become all the rage. And why not? They're not only fresh and delicious but they are guilt free! These spicy thai chicken lettuce wraps are great for lunch, dinner, or can easily be prepared as a party appetizer.
Happy National Tortilla Chip Day! Although we are not sharing a recipe for tortilla chips, we are sharing a recipe for the tortillas perfect match!
Talk about easy! A few ingredients is all it takes to create this fresh and uniquely flavored salsa. This recipe is the perfect blend of sweet and savory and can be paired with tortilla chips, a topping on your favorite taco, or tossed into a salad.
While this salsa is so simple to make, there is nothing simple about it!
For best results we like to use sweet corn straight from the cob - however you sweet canned corn will work as well!
We are obsessed with nachos and always looking for new fun ways to change them up, from BBQ pulled pork nachos to s'mores dessert nachos - we have tried them all.
However, what are you suppose to do when you are craving nachos but also trying to stick to your New Years resolution of a healthier 2017? The answer my friends- is cauliflower!
Cauliflower has quickly become the new kale. All the rage, it has taken over as a replacement to those unhealthy (yet so delicious) carbs we know and love. We have seen cauliflower everywhere, cauliflower pizza crust, cauliflower mash, even cauliflower "chicken" nuggets.
For these Cauliflower Nachos we used cheddar cheese, red onions, sweet corn, tomatoes, pineapple salsa, sour cream, avocado and fresh cilantro. However when it comes to toppings you can be as creative as you want! The possibilities are endless.
