Beer Battered Onion Rings with Shake Shack Dipping Sauce
Before we even get to the details of the onion rings, we want to address the topic of the Shake Shack sauce. Shake Shack has been a favorite ours since 2007 when we were both living in NYC.
It quickly became the gold standard for east coast burgers. We’re sorry west coast, although we now live here, In & Out has got nothing on them. In fact, they just opened a Shake Shack in Palo Alto. San Francisco Bay Area, you’re welcome!
While there are a number of reasons they stand above the rest, their special sauce is a famous staple. Many recipe blogs have shared their versions and through much trial and error, we have created what we think is the best version!
Of course we didn’t forget about the onion rings. With only 4 ingredients , these circles of deep fried perfection are so much easier to make than you think! Did we mention they are beer battered?
